Bathroom flowers
Okay, I know what to rescue from up here in the bedrooms. Which is basically everything. Going to be fun getting the beds down those stairs, though – I may need some help on that.
One last check in the bathroom, and then I’m done up here for now.

Not much of a bathroom. I remember this. Just a toilet and washbasin up here; the bath’s downstairs.
Hadn’t noticed when we here before that the toilet is made of wood, not porcelain. It doesn’t have a flush – they must have emptied this one here somehow, though I don’t remember ever seeing them do it.
Hang on – that’s interesting. The basin is kind of cracked, and I can see the structure. It’s not a single piece of wood like it looked back then, and the one downstairs still does – it’s kind of made up of petals, all fused together.
It’s not made of wood, it is wood. It’s grown.
And the downpipe – it isn’t connected to the basin, it is it, all part of the same thing. And it isn’t a pipe, it’s solid. Like the stem of a flower.
That external-plumbing that I saw earlier, outside the house, coming down the outside wall – it isn’t plumbing. It’s all the one thing. All the one plant.
What kind of crazy plant would it be that has toilet-bowls and washbasins for its flowers?
