Final Agreement

One of the things that makes this hard is that there are so many different versions of the Agreement. Trying hard to find a way to keep Cromwell and co onside, I guess. Didn’t work.

Perhaps look at the final version of the Agreement, from 1649 – the one that Cromwell felt was so threatening that he killed people just for having it on their person.

There’s a summary of it on that British Civil War website. It’s pretty short: twelve main sections. Some of them maybe don’t seem that important; but most of them are. Very.

So do that, then. Take a wander through those sections, one at a time. See what I can find. See what sense it makes.
